With operations in Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands, and Sweden, we’re on a mission to save lives through vaccination – and we’re looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead and evolve our IT function.

Your Role

Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the CEO and other senior leaders, you will be responsible for defining, delivering, and managing ELCG’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems. You’ll also lead our digital compliance and security efforts via the IT Solution Artchitect, who reports to you.

Key responsibilities:

• IT Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the group-wide IT roadmap, covering infrastructure, data analytics, CRM, BI, AI, cybersecurity, and system integrations.
•  Budget Ownership: Manage the IT budget, including procurement, vendor negotiations, and ROI assessment on all IT investments.
• System Ownership: Serve as system owner of our industry-specific digital platform—ensuring alignment with business needs, prioritisation of initiatives, and effective vendor management.
• Infrastructure Oversight: Ensure a reliable, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure across countries.
• Cybersecurity Leadership: Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, including incident response plans.
• Vendor Management: Lead vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance and high service quality.
• Cross-Functional Support: Support other departments with vendor selection, solution design, and system implementation.
• Collaborative Leadership: Build strong working relationships across Management, Finance, HR, and Marketing.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role
• Strong and broad-based IT expertise across infrastructure, applications, and strategy
• Proven experience managing vendors and outsourced IT services
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Professional fluency in English
• Relevant educational background.
