Since 2015, NHS England has contracted Vaccination UK, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, to provide school-aged immunisations, including influenza vaccinations, to students across England.
JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Call Centre Operative.
Contract type: Fixed Term, contracted until 8th December 2023 with potential extension.
Shifts: Flexible between Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08:00am - 5:00pm. Part time and term time only possible.
Overtime: Depending on the needs of the business which may include weekend shifts.

JOB PURPOSE:
Promote and support the operation of our school aged immunisation service delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age, with follow up clinics within the community.
Bilingual skills would be a benefit to the role as we deal with a range of communities and nationalities, but this is not required. We are especially looking for a Turkish speaker to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work collaboratively to support the team to facilitate the smooth continuity of service delivery.
- Assist in the day to day running of the immunisation programme's call centre.
- Handling calls and emails from and to parents/careers booking children in for vaccinations within community clinics.
- Coordinating the operation of the community clinics in line with company policy and procedures.
- Working towards KPI's to ensure targets are achieved.
- Participate positively in regular team meetings.
- Have a clear and polite telephone manner.
- Comply with Company policies & procedures.
- Undertake duties commensurate with the level of this position.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential:
- DBS Clearance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- IT literate including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Customer service and people management skills.
- Understands and implements the principles of informed consent.
- Knowledge of principles of data protection
- Experience in call center and customer service environments would be a bonus but not necessary for this role.
- Bilingual skills would be a benefit but not required.
