Operations Manager
The postholder will be responsible to support the team in the clinics, pharmacies and wider services to drive the performance of the business and play a critical role in operations.
- Support the financial performance of the business to meet revenue and gross margin / EBITDA, by helping to optimise operations and processes.
- Monitor and improve utilization rates for the clinics and new business network to support the overall growth and health of the business.
- Ensure solid work and staffing plans in place; identify potential staffing or revenue risks, develop mitigation strategies, or staffing/resourcing challenges.
- Support the finance team with management of the operating budget for the business – staying profitable through sound patient management and staff utilization.
- Working with external stakeholders (i.e. Local authorities) at a high level and minuting meetings for reporting and management of follow up actions.
- Support key business workstreams (HR, Marketing, IT) to ensure excellence in key initiatives.
- Support the recruitment process and new starter process.
- Champion practices and procedures support evolution where necessary.
- Support the broader team with the New Business process.
- Line management and people development is a key part of the role.
- Supporting senior admin/admin staff and introducing additional structure and cohesion to the teams.
- Creation, implementation of new processes and rolling out of them across the region to ensure that standard practices are used across the board.
- Liaise with Line Manager for debrief of meetings to keep them informed.
- Support Manager with management of Performance reviews, Disciplinary grievances and liaising with Human Resources
- Mentoring and developing junior and administrative staff.
- Upskill team to ensure efficiency in Inductions, Performance management and probation.
- Actively support the company with resourcing, staffing, contract management and general project management including scope and timelines.
- Must be willing to travel
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
